Jada Nguyen
I am a pragmatic artist and designer with a focus on design, illustration, and visual
storytelling. Graduating from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I have worked
with student organizations such as Kaleidoscope and Sparklab. Through this work, of
illustrations, cover design, flyers, web announcements and more; it has allowed me
to build and improve my skills while getting involved with the Birmingham community.
Alongside this, I have also done work for ‘Good People’, ‘Birmingham Vulcans Rugby
Team’, ‘New Awakening Recovery Services’, ‘Alabama Wildlife Center’, and more.

My Experience extends through Adobe Programs: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After
Effects, and Premiere. As well as external services such as Figma, Canva, and
Blender. My hands-on experience extends in my ability and knowledge in the print/
signage production industries. I’ve worked directly with Fiery and Versa work Programs
as well as Summa and SAI work-flows. Both which have aided in both large and small
scale vinyl/banner print. Through this real-world involvement, I’ve learned to grasp
terminologies surrounding channel letters, droboxes, lighting effects and more.
